What is lifestyle coaching at Lifestyle coaching Voedingbreed?

Lifestyle coaching Voedingbreed helps you take steps towards a sustainably healthier lifestyle. The strength of Voedingbreed lifestyle coaching lies in the holistic approach. It is not just about dieting, but about bringing balance to all aspects of lifestyle such as nutrition, relaxation, relationships, behaviour patterns, exercise, sleep and having a purpose in life. What does 'holism' mean?

Holism is an approach which states that a system, such as a person, nature or society, can only be understood by looking at the whole and the connections between all parts, not just the separate elements.

In coaching: focusing on recognising patterns and integrating the past, present and future to promote healing and growth.

How long does lifestyle coaching take?

I offer short programs of 3 sessions and a longer program of 6 sessions. The 3 sessions take place over 3 months, while 6 sessions are spread over 6 months.

Depending on your needs, a program may last longer or shorter. Lifestyle coaching is tailored to you.

What is included in the 'Check-up' program?

3 coaching sessions for analysis, awareness and insight into health and vitality by mapping the four lifestyle factors: exercise, sleep, nutrition, and relaxation (stress management). Focus: a healthy diet and exercise pattern, better sleep and more relaxation.

What is included in the 'Check-in' program?

3 coaching sessions for analysis, awareness and insight into emotional and relational functioning. Focus: a positive mindset, nourishing relationships and purpose in life (fulfilment through activities and work).

What is included in the 'Voedingbreed' program?

6 coaching sessions for analysis, awareness and insight, creating an individual nutrition plan and setting goals towards a sustainably healthy lifestyle. Goals are aimed at adopting a healthy diet, exercising more regularly, sleeping well, reducing stress, maintaining nourishing relationships and making appropriate choices in activities, work and purpose in life. In short, feeling vital for a fulfilling and more enjoyable life.

What is the difference between the 3 session programs and the 6 session program?

Short programs focus on analysis, awareness and insight. You are guided towards sustainable behaviour change. There is little room for monitoring and adjustment in the longer term.

Longer programs include follow-up on experiences with new behaviour. By examining what triggers relapses and coaching or taking action accordingly, the chances of sustainable behaviour change are greater.

What can lifestyle coaching do for you?

A lifestyle coach supports you in taking control of your health and life again through conversations, practical tips and investigating the underlying causes of any complaints. Often, there are causes you are not even aware of.
